Vilnius’ largest arena changes its name

2024-04-10

“Avia Solutions Group Arena,” the capital’s largest event space, has changed its name. Following the signing of a long-term cooperation agreement, it will now be known as Vilnius “Twinsbet” Arena.

“Avia Solutions Group” Arena has signed a three-year cooperation agreement with UAB “Nesė”, which manages the online entertainment brand “Twinsbet”. This is the name of the renewed arena – “Twinsbet” Arena.

The event space, which will celebrate its 20th birthday this October, opened in 2004, becoming Lithuania’s first multi-purpose and still private arena.

Andrius Žiauberis, the arena’s manager, is pleased with the new name and emphasizes the new partners’ ambitions, which align with the arena’s business aspirations.

“We are delighted to be joined by an experienced and ambitious partner. We are not standing still, and we are looking to the future. I am sure that this partnership will benefit businesses and Vilnius and its citizens, and the visitors of the arena will appreciate the results of our joint work”, – says A. Žiauberis.

For much of last year, the arena was closed for renovation—the project, which cost almost EUR 11 million, involved renovating many areas. Sustainability has been a significant focus, and a wide range of improvements have been made, including the replacement of 2,000 of the building’s light fittings with LEDs, the refurbishment of most of the arena’s bar equipment, improvements to the waste segregation system, the introduction of water and electricity saving systems, and acoustic upgrades that have improved the quality of the events in the arena.

The “Twinsbet” Arena has a capacity of 13,000 spectators and hosts more than 100 concerts, sports competitions, and other events annually.
